Made of “purple beauty” tea tree leaf buds from wild camellia assamica in Dehong Dai Prefecture, Yunnan, China. Hand-picked in the earliest part of Yunnan’s tropical springtime harvest and specially processed into a kind of bud black tea. The wilting process is around 48 hours (longer than other black teas), which has allowed some of the strong tannins to soften, giving a complexity that is totally unique. Tasting notes of eucalyptus, intense fruit, sweet wine, and flowers can be found in this rare and special tea. Available for a limited time
