Truly fit for royalty, this green tea is made from tender shoots of tea buds grown in the Simao district of China, ancient and sacred land in Chinese tea history. These shoots of downy tea buds are expertly hand-rolled into tiny pearls of fresh tea. Short, repeated steepings of 20-30 seconds with 195 (degree) water is suggested; or a longer infusion of around 2 minutes also works for a “western style” infusion. Admire the change in appearance and taste during the infusions. The flavor will develop into sweet, thick and vibrant; light astringency will counter the sweetness, lending it depth and complexity.
