Nestled high in the Himalayan Mountains in Darjeeling, India, the Monteviot Tea Estate has been producing world famous Darjeeling tea since the 1850s.
When the tea bushes start to sprout after the winter dormancy, the new tea season in Darjeeling begins. Only the very first, finest and most delicate leaves of the bushes are used for first flush crop. A limited portion of these fine spring teas are imported by airfreight shortly after plucking, directly to our shop. These teas are distinguished by their harvest-fresh character and floral flavor notes.
These prized first flush tea leaves were hand picked in early-mid March of 2023.
